We arrived Saturday evening, met our tour leader, had a quick snack and an early night in our very small hotel room (our caravan is bigger). Guess what it rained most of Sunday, it felt quite refreshing at first after all the heat we'd experienced the last couple of months but we soon felt cold (what a shame) went to a Temple shrine in a lovely park with huge mature trees. Afternoon onto a small river lined with beautiful cherry blossom trees in full bloom (they've flowered later because of a cold spell early spring) that night had a walk around the bright lights of Tokyo and it's one hell of a lot of neon (again you have to see it to believe it) there's even a restaurant with robots waiting on you, had a nice meal (no robots) and a nice evening. Monday morning spent at a massive market, lots of fish and other foods, very interesting. Then onto a very picturesque park with loads more cherry blossom trees and the whole place was lovely, then off to the Government offices and the top floor is an observation deck with spectacular views over Tokyo, Ga's gone back tonight whilst I do the blog for nighttime photos (they'll be in the album soon) we've loved Tokyo J & G
