3rd April had a long day on a coach to Siem Reap. Next morning up at 04:00 to witness the sun rise over the Angkor Wat temples and then visiting them, which were amazing huge structures built in the 11th/12th century, our favourite was the temple in the jungle which had been forgotten for many centuries and giant trees have grown up through the buildings (some of the film Tomb Raider was shot there). Watched a nice Cambodian dance show that evening and a few more temples next morning half day tour, we nearly melted its bloody hot here. Tonight we're off to Phare Cambodian circus with no animals, just acrobatics, contortion, aerial arts and traditional/modern dance looking foreword to it. 6th April cross the boarder into Thailand and onto bustling Bangkok then early hours of the 8th fly to Tokyo where thank God it's cooler.
