Time to come home to Byford day. It was also meant to be our Skydive day but we received the expected phone call from the airfield to say that the cloud base was too low and the wind too gusty. However we have re- arranged it for Easter Sunday up here in Perth with the drop being onto Rottnest Island, a beautiful nature reserve Island about 4 miles off Perth/Freemantle and smaller than Hayling Island. As if yesterday was good, today had even more to offer. Up a little earlier today to hit the road, starting with something a little different - Jam and Preserves tasting plus a wonderful brace of liqueurs, (Almond and Chocolate). Another Wow day today. This trip has not disappointed. Today is wine tasting day in Margaret River. Dozens & Dozens of Winery's to choose from so it is just as well that Jen & Checkez know the best ones to visit. Time to go out exploring - 4 days in Margaret River. We loaded up Checkez truck and Jenny's Lancer for the 3 hour drive. I drove Jenny's car following Checkez. A bit of a lay in to recover from a few drinks last night. Today is about 4x4 off roading. We are going to meet up with Scotty and Craig, 2 friends of Checkez and Jens who have the right vehicles and bags of expertise for what has been promised to be top level and at times white knuckle.
