hi all! just thought I'd give a quick update from Santiago!! we have been here 2 days now.. the journey took absolutely ages as we had to wait 8 hours for our connecting flight in Madrid.. but then we all slept on the 13hr flight as were so nackered .. we were all asleep before the plane even got on the runway, none of us noticed takeoff and barn surfaced midatlantic ocean inquiring if we'd left yet haha. It was pissing it down when we got here great! but has been really nice weather today. Our hostel is ace.. we spent most of last night chatting to other people that are staying here and then went to a club with some brazilians. we asked them all about rio and their analysis was that moore looked brazilian, sul and grant may be able to pull it off, and that me and barn are going to get mugged! today we havecommenced the act of winging it and spent the day in santiago centre.. we went up a big hill ..forgotten its name..in cablecar so we could see all round the city.. its absolutely amazing with the backdrop of the andes. will try posting some photos soon but havent showered since we arrived and theres a pool table in the other room i havent sampled yet! missing everyone back home lots and lots xxxxxx
