Brazil Begins!!
So we left Santa Cruz (no you~re not that far) on a night train which was jolly.. and arrived in the boilng heat of the pantanal. this is the worlds largest wetland so we were on a bit of a wildlife mish. the place we were staying was a bit like a farm in the middle of nowhere, very basic - we all slept in one big room of hammocks for 2 nights which was actually quite comfy.. it was more the ´spanish monsters´snoring (not sullys for once haha) that caused problems!
on the way there we saw LOADS of caymen which was pretty class.. we also did a night walk but didnt manage to catch one like in the amazon. on our first full day we went on a safari where we saw giant otters, then went pirana fishing.. moore managed to catch something that wasnt a pirana, it was just boody massive! and sul got one that the guy thought he had killed but later made a jump for it down the crack in the bridge to safety.. also worth noting for future reference that frederick threw one on top of moore haha. we then did horseriding (again!) - mine was called lambadir and covered me in mud, happy days.. and cause we thought we were now experts after our whole one time of doing it before, we got all the horses to go into a gallop which was wicked!
later that night we all sat round a bonfire and got eaten alive. the state of our legs currently really dont help us blend in as brazilians! id also better report about the morning walk that began at 5.30am, which sadly, i didnt quiteee make. im not sure what happened but me moore and grant found our legs temporarily broken at that time so had to stay in bed/hammock..
after leaving the pantanal we had a 5/6 hour bus ride to Bonito, portuguese for Beautiful. I;ll have to report on this later cause barns dragging me off for an appointment with a bottle of vodka! at the moment though to keep this updated I´m in Iguasu Falls loving the Wolves score,
