Today we set out on our beautiful 10person catamaran to the Whitsundays. Our first agenda was finding somewhere flat for our first night sleep as it was really wavy not helped with strong winds and constant showers. But in between showers we did see some sun. The people were all lovely. We had an American couple Jill and Chris, an Italian couple Giada and Andrea, and finally a young English couple called Gavin and Kayley. Everyone got on so well from the start and even with rubbish weather we enjoyed it because of the company we had. Our skipper was called Glen and our hostess was called Lucy. Mum and I had the queen cabin with en suite unfortunately it was on the engine but it didn't bother us as we weren't inside when it was on. In the evening we had some snacks and I say some as the wind blew most of it off the table so if you were sitting down wind you just close your eyes and open your mouth and food is served. In the evening we had dinner Lucy making some salad and potatoes and glen firing up the BBQ on the back of the boat for some chicken which was delicious. Then it was bed time after chatting and pudding as we had an early start in the morning.
