Mum and I got on a 10am bus today to go to Smithfield to go on the skyrail up to Kuranda. There was two stops along the way, the first being a 10minute board walk through the forest the second being the incredible Barron Falls, which is really only incredible to see in the wet season as the sheer amount of water takes away any site of the rocks. However it's just down to a trickle at the moment but still nice to see. After our walk around the falls we headed back onto the skyrail over the forests to Kuranda where we did some window shopping some very expensive window shopping with mums taste. We went into a gallery and mum's favourite was typically the most expensive and only one left priced at $20,000 or $15,000 to buy in the gallery. It was stunning but just slightly out of our budget. We carried on walking where we found a nice cafe and had a hot chocolate and the biggest and most filling baguettes ever, but totally delicious. After wading through then we continued on a walk through the high street checking out aboriginal art and then we did a 25minute boardwalk through the rainforest before getting the bus home.
