Roma... I actually really like it here. The people are... Italian, but the bus system rocks and everything is fairly close! Today after the train ride from Hell, evann and I were feeling slightly hysterical, but pumped about seeing everything! :) We got to the hotel and the air conditioning was awesome, washed our faces and headed out to the Foutian Trevi, where you throw coins in and make a wish and it is supposed to be magic and make it so you end up back in Rome before you die. I threw in a couple of coins for everyone! :) Walked around and decided to head to the collosseum. Metroed it there and wow... it is amazing! Huge! It is really hard to believe that people built it with out modern technology! There was some drama with tickets, because pepole here dont like Americans very much and we were .40 short of the amount to get 2 tickets and the ho bag at the window (who let the girl in front of us in that was .50 short!) wouldnt let us get tickets, so we left pissed off and Maryann gave us some money and I pulled a Katie and found a way to NOT wait in the 30 minute line again, not even caring WHO i pissed off! :) We got our tickets and we were in like Flynn! :) Took the required tourist pictures that I am sure non of you will find interesting, but Evann and I, but I did make sure to have evann document my "gladitor face" and me running though the doors of the collosseum like I was Russel Crow (why dont people like Americans?) I also posed like some of the busts and statues they had for everyones entertainment back home! :) See I think of you Lyn! :) We bussed it back and now we are trying to book Naples and Capri and then it is out to dinner and looking for an ATM for me that wont rape me with fees. :) Tomorrow we are going to the Vaticun city, and back to the Forum and the Patheron.
