Hola from Lima,

After a normal flight with some good neighbours I make it to Lima. I clear customs and collect my bag in like 10 minutes was awesome. My transfer is there waiting to take me to casa ana.. It's about 5pm.. I get to the hostel and meet the family that run it.. They are lovely.. The hostel isn't the best location but in terms of everything else it was fantastic.. They showed me how to get to a bank and supermarket and when the bank gave me US dollars instead of Soles they exchanged it for me at a good rate.. They had wifi and a kitchen.. I was only in lima for like 14 hours so didn't venture further then my neighbourhood which I was ok with as I hadn't heard many good things about lima..

I booked all my busses for the next week and hostels and had an early night.. I had to be up at 5:30am to get to the bus that leaves for Ica at 7am..

Ana who owns the hostel got up at 5:30 to make breakfast for me and call the cab... I couldn't believe it.. So amazing... I wish I had another night there just because it was so homely..

Tomorrow my real Peru experience starts as I head to Ica and go sand boarding on the Peruvian coast ohhh yeah
