Rough start to today! Colton was up all night really sick and this morning he was still throwing up! Looks like we've had our first encounter with food poisoning! This meant that we weren't able to get to the main island and catch our shuttle to Costa Rica! I got up at 6 and found myself a water taxi to go me the shuttle know we wouldn't make it. I was crossing my fingers they would let me simply change the day instead of having to book another trip and pay again...

We went to Red Frog Beach today. It's amazing, huge waves a big riptides you have to watch out for! The sun is so intense today so we left the beach early and saved our skin from burning! We took the water taxi over to the very small Bastimentos town had some lunch and got some things to cook dinner ( since this hostel is so expensive if you want to go out for lunch!). I finally got to talk to my mom and riley today for the first time since we have been gone, so ...

Today we made the hungover trek to Bastimentos, smaller, much more beautiful island then the main island! Wow do we ever wish we stayed here the entire time! The rainforest is never ending. To get to a town it's about a 2 and 1/2 hour hike through the dense jungle! We met some people in our dorm that did it and they were knee deep in mud the entire way. They ran into some realllllyyyy big snakes and spiders to! :| .....I'll take the 10 minute boat ride......

There's not a lot to do on this island just a lot of happy hours and lady's nights ( where girls drink free!). We went to the aqua lounge, a bar out over the ocean, there's water trampolines, big holes in deck and swings where you jump into the ocean. It's a good time but really crazy! The next few days we found a sports bar right by our hostel, they had happy hour during the day (instead of at night like the rest of the bars on the island) so we spent most days ...

We said goodbye to the much loved Santa Catalina at 5am this morning! We traveling through some beautiful mountains and jungles along the way. Wow there are some crazy drivers here! People whip around sharp corners and fit entire family's (from all the children to grandmas) on a mo-ped! When we got to the top of the mountain we had to go over a passage called the "devils chin". It's a VERY narrow passage with huge cliffs on each side and hardly enough room on...
