We said goodbye to the much loved Santa Catalina at 5am this morning! We traveling through some beautiful mountains and jungles along the way. Wow there are some crazy drivers here! People whip around sharp corners and fit entire family's (from all the children to grandmas) on a mo-ped! When we got to the top of the mountain we had to go over a passage called the "devils chin". It's a VERY narrow passage with huge cliffs on each side and hardly enough room on the road for 2 lanes. Many people die here each year because the winds are sooooo strong they literally push cars over the edge! Yikes!!!!

We arrived in Bocas Del Toro and took a very small water taxi to the "Isla (island) colon". This place is littered with tourists and was really hard to find a hostel with free rooms! When we finally did we went out for some food and were approached with dozens of people handing out promotions for different things going on at different bars! Everywhere has happy hour, with dollar drinks, live music or lady's night( lady's drink for free!!!!). There was an 80's party with some great drink deals at a hostel near by and that's where we ended up. It was a great night, lots of dancing, drinking games (shut the box!!!) and 80's music!
