Rough start to today! Colton was up all night really sick and this morning he was still throwing up! Looks like we've had our first encounter with food poisoning! This meant that we weren't able to get to the main island and catch our shuttle to Costa Rica! I got up at 6 and found myself a water taxi to go me the shuttle know we wouldn't make it. I was crossing my fingers they would let me simply change the day instead of having to book another trip and pay again and thank god they did! :) If any of you ever go to Bastimentos don't stay at Bocos Bound hostel unless you want to deal with b****y people! This morning I was trying to find some help for Colton and a phone so I could call our shuttle instead of having to go all the way to the main island so early (which is a free phone call) , and the lady at the front desk responded "We open at 7, until then it's not my problem...." Even though she was sitting in the office with other employees, non of which did anything at all to help. We dealt with alot of rude workers our entire stay here, some people shouldn't have jobs that require customer service!!!!
Colton stated to feel better later in the afternoon so tomorrow we go to Costa Rica! There was a tropical storm tonight and it rained so hard it sounded like someone was throwing hundreds of rocks at our roof! Pretty cool to watch though.
