We arrived very safely in Puerto Iguazu after a short, but very delayed flight from Buenos Aires. We were expecting a bit of a shack of an airport, but it was actually very nice, bit strange as it looked a bit like a red brick house, but it was very modern inside and very organised. Another busy day in Buenos Aires! We had an early start and made our way to the Plaza Congreso which is a 2 minute walk from our hostel, where the very grand Congreso de la Nacion lives. We then went down town, and after a few wrong turns, found a subte (subway) station to take us to Palermo. It's a very pretty, classy neighbourhood with lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Hello everybody, just a quickish one to let you know how we're doing so far (because we're going for a bbq at the hostel and then to bed cos we're so tired!) We had a very smooth sailing flight yesterday once we got to the airport.
