Once again, as we checked into our hostel in KL we bumped into some people that had been on the Perhentian Islands the same time as us! That night we all went out and took over the local club as there was noone else in there, we even had a band play our personal requests!!Spent the day time visiting Petronas Towers, Menara Tower and Batu Temple, all of which were pretty impressive and gave good views of KL. After being recommended by Christie for being 'spot on', I went to see Mr Chin, a 75 yr old fortune teller. He told me a few things about me that were pretty accurate so when he said I'd meet someone when I'm 30 and live happily ever after I came away quite happy...that was until Jen went the next day and he told her exactly the same things!! Where's his originality? Surely he would think to alternate what he tells people?! KL was great for shopping; Jen got some fake perfume while I couldn't resist buying a fake Chloe handbag...it's a great look with my rucksack! Towards the end of our time in KL we decided that we were going to get the boat from Melaka (South Malaysia) across to Sumatra in Indonesia in a bid to see the 'people of the forest' AKA orang-utans!!
