The flight from Santiago to Sydney was fantastic.

 Not only was my seating in 1J literally as close to the pointy end of the plane as you can get, but I had a delightful travelling companion Alex (also travelling through to Canberra) in 1K and he and I talked for so long that I only fitted in 2 movies as well as a pretty standard 3-4 hours sleep!

All too soon we arrived after some excellent service thanks to attentive crew and even the baby in 1A was well behaved.

Pretty smooth transition through immigration (love the electronic version) and customs (who didn't want to take any of my paintings / souvenirs), across to domestic and flight to Canberra.

Yes, the puppies were pleased to see me - nearly as pleased to see me as I was to see my bed.

So back home, but plus many, many delightful memories and some items for actioning over the next several years.
