JC's Galapagos and Amazon Adventure: // Fabulous Fiji - sun, surf and ...... Golf: A sudden invitation to build on my minuscule golfing expertise by watching some of the Fiji Open and trying out a tropical course or two was an opportunity not to be missed - to say nothing of taking advantage of the chance for some tropical weather and water, leisurely exploring and having someone else do the cooking and drink pouring. Besides its been 8 months since I stepped out of the country, so it's time to go again. But be warned dear reader that with overseas trips to New Zealand, Tasmania (he he ... my new motorised 2 wheeler an I are going on the boat after all) and Croatia booked for the next 8 months, it's going to get busy! // JC and JJ visit Croatia - a lovely surprise at every turn : This trip is the fulfilling of a promise to my self after my Balkans trip in 2013 - a trip that started off with a wonderful week in England then on to a tour that took in Hungary, Croatia (the top east), Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro and then to the coast of Croatia at Dubrovnik. While the tour explored the 1990s war that saw Yugoslavia disintegrate and was fabulous, I was then keen and promised myself that I would return and travel the coast of Croatia (inspired by then recent trips of relatives and friends).
This trip is the result. I am travelling with the ever patient and great company Judith (JJ) - hence the trip's title. // First major ride... Ulysses AGM - Tassie.: Written after the event.
This wasn't my first AGM but it was my first on 2 wheels. Betty Beemer and I achieved many firsts - longest day's ride, first boat travel together, first major hill climb (Brown Mountain), first Betty drop, first load gear on and go - all shared with wonderful existing and new friends. The trip did include a week of driving with Carlene - driving Valerie Volvo.
Detailed records were not kept to protect the innocent! // Jenny and Betty's adventure to Queensland: Having travelled through Victoria to Tasmania in the first half of 2016, our next challenge was to head further north in NSW than Goulburn and to cross the state border to Queensland.
The trip will also include visits to northern based friends and relatives.

Thanks for the feedback - its actually quite nice at the end of the day to reflect on everything and to keep a bit of a track of things through the day through photographs. However, have I do to watch wine intake with dinner as my fingers get a bit out of control sometimes. :)

My goodness you are filling in so much each day! It sounds to me very much that a sleep in was required. It has all been brilliant reading about your trip - but how do you remember all that detail? You will have so many rich memories about it all!

Nice one Mum! Shame you missed the sunset - really is a magical place with the organ and all that - those things light things respond to the pressure as you walk across them too. But glad you liked the city anyway! Keep up great blogging :)

Been following your travels on the map. I have the Croatia and other maps strewn about the floor and tables at the moment planning my motorcycle trip from Slovenia to Turkey. Keep the reports coming - they are my early morning reading before I get up. Inspirational.
