WE MADE IT TO HE BEACH!!!!!!! It was a long journey, 2 flights, a 2 hr taxi and lots of coffee nut we made it to paradise! We went straight to palolem beach , arriving just after dark and booked into a hut on stilts for 2 days that cost us about 5 quid a night. my mums 1st request on arrival was an ice cold beer........unfortunately, it was what they call a 'dry day' as the elections take place on that day.........poor waiter got an ear-bashing, very funny!! l...

We arrived in Udaipur after a long car journey, it takes longer because cows are sacred so they can just sit in the middle of the road for ages and people wont move them! I phoned a few hotels on the way....quite amusing, a few actually hung up on me! We decided to go and check out a place when we got there and it was fine with an amazing view of the ghats and the lake palace. we settled in and then went out and ate another thali and drank some much needed booz...
