We a flight from Kathmandu to Delhi and it was only delayed by 1 hour...hurray!

When we arrived in Delhi we went straight to the domestic airport and managed to buy a ticket to Jaipur for later on that day(anything to get out of there as soon as possible!)

With 6 hours to kill mum came up with the idea of going to the nearest posh hotel and hanging around pretending that we were staying there.

I thought this idea was great so we got a taxi there, it wasnt really until we arrived that we realised that we looked like we'd been up since 4(which we had) and that our massive ruk sacs and s*** arrival in a beaten up taxi gave us away big time! I made some phone calls and booked us in to a nice hotel in Jaipur and arranged for them to pick us up when we got there. Whilst i was doing that my mum had lost her mind sitting in the posh bar and was laughing her arse off at nothing (travellers delirium). Actually she was laughing at an indian cooking programme that was on the telly....which had a chef on it that cooked and another guy that just stood next to him doing nothing!!........a very indian trait!

Anyway, we ate lots of food and drank lots of coffee and then headed back to the airport. Plane was delayed again but we had been on the move for so long now we just found everything hilarious ...... in the end we escaped Delhi!!!!

Arrived in Jaipur last night and the hotel is amazing!......we have been sight seeing in a tuk tuk today( and shopping of course) and tommorow we leave and head to Pushkar.

I love India, it makes me really feel things.....and my mum is having such a good time...im so glad that im getting to share it with her.
