MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, friends, families and everyone else!! I'd originally thought to send cards, a photo of me on the beach in a santa hat or something similar but time and funds has just meant it never happened. So instead I send all my thoughts and wishes to everyone this way for Christmas, the holidays and into 2010!! I'll post photos of the festivities as and when.
As for an update .. a few photos have gone up. We've now been living in our flat almost 5 weeks and I've been working for Nosh. It's been pretty busy up until now and when I haven't been travelling all over Sydney to Polo in the Park, the Aussie Open, Acer arena, Randwick races, Ivy and Establishment; I've been ctaching up with old and new friends (Nush babe it was great to see you), sunning myself on the beach and exploring the city by night! We took a day trip to Manly, yet another beautiful beach and I did my Christmas shopping in Paddy's market/China town. This week on things are set to be a little quieter but it will give us all time to enjoy Christmas and New Years before getting back on the job hunt and trying desperately to pay the rent and save the pennies.
Christmas day will be spent with many other backpackers at an event called Sunburnt on Bondi beach!! New Years eve will be a day of picnics, games and afternoon drinking in the Botanic gardens before fireworks over Harbour bridge and the Opera house - what more could you want. On New Years day some of the gang will head to Space but I plan to take it easy, have some food with friends and begin the economy drive!! Instead I hope to make it to the Good Vibrations festival in February, Killers headlining!!
I don't think there's much else to say. I wish everyone a fantastic Christmas, hope it's not too cold, wet and snowy where you are. Will be very strange being hot for a change. Please pass my wishes to anyone and everyone! And thanks to those who sent cards all this way!! Lots of love, hugs and kisses!!!
