We stayed the night at Roy and Frans house in the suburbs of Melbourne. The next morning (Saturday) we all set off for "Mount Dandenong", a newly refurbished park area from which you got a great view of the city and suburbs of Melbourne. It really brought the scale of the city home to us! We then all went to lunch at "The Cuckoo" restaurant at the base of the mountain. It was a German theme restaurant with clocks, leiderhoisen, bells and frilly dresses. The food was provided as an all you can eat buffet, which was enjoyed with entertainment which ranged from bell ringing to yodelling!! It was great fun! We then went to the "RJ Hammer Arboretum" for a view of the innner forest and park area. It was a great day with the hospitality greatly appreciated. In the evening we took the 12h overnight bus to Sydney.
