Day 3:

Today I just popped to Italy...ya know as ya do.

The coach tok us via the Simplon Pass, up high and into Mountains and then across the Italian Border...which by the way they didnt even blink an eye...the coach just went through....dont know if thats a good or bad thing to be honest but none the less..Italy here we come

I tell you what though...my ears :-( evey little bend and the higher/lower we go they pop and go all funny....never had this before but then again never driven up a mountain before

Anyways arrive in Stresa....sun is shining and Pizza and Ice Cream are calling..well when in Italy ans that...its gotta be done hasnt it?? I had some lovely Pizza and even found Lactose Free Ice Cream so I was happy as it meant I could indulge...yummy. Stresa is a lovely little town along Lake Maggoire, lots of cobbled Italian Streets and little cafes, boutiques and shops....was nice to see

We then boarded our own charter and sailed across Lake Maggiore seeing the Borrowman Islands "Isola Bella, Isola Madre" and hey are all lile little villages of their own with hotels/cafes/botanical gardens, so was really pretty.

Next we boarded the Centovalli Train and that took us 2hrs and all the way to Domodossola...where we then met the coach and headed back (again passing Italian and Swiss Borders and they just let us go....haha)

Its been a longggggg day I tell you, absolutely shattered, so off to bed now as tomorrow is Montreaux and FREDDIE!!!!!
