We did our first spot of entertaining in our new apartment last night as we welcomed Chris and Kat to our place for dinner. Chris is a fellow Hypo promoter from Newcastle who has been showing me the ropes for the first couple of weeks and Kat is his better half who has been telling him the job is stupid (sounds familiar). They are due to head off to continue their travels in a couple of weeks so we thought it would be a great time to test out our hosting skill...

These are indeed exciting times! On Wednesday we came home from work today to discover that our three seater sofa had been modified to a two seater with an extended section for the third seat. So now we can both lie up and watch the telly!! And today we came home to find our table out on the balcony and a new larger table in its place in the kitchen. Who knows what new developments tomorrow will bring to our ever changing apartment??

Well, we have now been living in our humble new abode for all of two days and we are loving it! Once the Scots left the campsite we had a couple of days remaining before we could move in here and although they went quick enough we were extremely glad to leave and get away from the cold.
