Happy Halloween...which seems to be fun no matter what country I'm in... last year I was in Nicaragua at this time. Now I am in Peru's big captial city, Lima.

Since arriving in Lima, I've found a cool hostel in the Barranco neighborhood called The Point. And my timimg couldn't have been better as they were looking for staff... so, I'm kinda working again and will stay here for a couple months most likely. Lima is a huge city so there's lots to see and do while I'm here. Basically, my "job" is working at the reception desk in the evening from 5 to 11 PM a few days a week doing check-ins and check-outs, answering the phone, giving advice to other backpackers about things around Lima, and having fun with everyone by showing new arrivals the city's crazy nightlife... that's the job. In return, my rent is free as well as lunch and I get a discount on all food and drinks from the bar. So I am settled in here and having a great time.

The hostel bar had a Halloween party before turning us loose on the town so all the photos are from that....
