I'm back in Madrid where my 2016 European adventure started with my parents several weeks ago. I never had any plans to stay and travel Europe this long but with a borrowed jacket from my friend Carles in Barcelona, I was able to survive the colder temperatures. Some online publications are saying this is one of 2017's destinations of the year. I can't complain and hope to return for more.

It's getting cold in Europe. It was 1 degree C or about 33F on the day I watched the surfers on the river. I'm heading to Morocco where it should be a little warmer.
