Good to hear further ramblings. We were out with friends and Mr Hundertwasser came up in conversation(why not?)Apparently he has designed a public loo in the North Island of New Zealand which is certainly something to look forward to in the later stages of your trip.

Hello,
Sounds like you're having an amazing time! It's giving me real itchy feet (not v. practical with the babes). Love the fact that you're making a real effort to experience the local cuisine and beverages too, not just see the sights ; ) Thanks for the email, will reply in the next day or so as I want to send you Helsinki details before it's too late... all good here : ), even had some lovely warm sunshine today. This is great, there are now places on my 'must visit' list that have never occured to me to visit before. You're doing a fab job of keeping us all up to date and if you ever need your book '101 uses of duct tape' marketed - I'm your lady ;)

Great write ups & pics so far but I can tell you're missing checking tabs enormously! OK, maybe I got that last bit wrong :D
Looking forward to reading/seeing more of your adventures.
All the best,

Hey hey. What beautiful buildings. I love how colourful it all is in Eastern Europe.
My dads parents were a mish mash of lots of Eastern European countries (dad was Austro-hungarian) so I probably have some blood relatives dotted about here and there. Maybe those guys playing chess are my long lost cuz's! He he!
Will you be publishing your '101 uses for duct tape' book when you get back? I think you ought to have a mini-photoblog alongside this one just of pics of all the ways you have had to use it... ;)
I did laugh as I pictured the footprints going from the tram to the hostel. It sounds so lovely!

Well Well. We are-You are.
Matt & lovely Emily moved to Balham ( he calls it Clapham -- or Cla'h'm).5 of us helped.including Emily's cousin , Gus. Tiring , yet really satisfying to see them moved in happily and They are both back at the Grindstone Monday ..little Brother @ EnY in London Bridge ( he gets his 2nd year exam results early Oct ) and Emily starts on South Bank , her PGCE Teacher Training.
Budapest looked brill.Crotia hopefully even better and maybe DJ will find more things work: to be Fair, it looked as though the trains were better than UK and even better than Scotland.Although not as expensive.
Worked today.Flat out Monday Tuesday and especially Wednesday ( HPB).
Julie next door is in Switzerland and they arrive back to hidden cars and a *0th party Saturday night. Thought we'd pop in , as invited , for a 'quick' drink!

Hi there,
Budapest looks amazing. It's on my list of places to visit. By a coincidence I turned over my perpetual calendar today and it's a picture of Budapest showing men in the thermal springs playing chess! How about that. Hope you continue to enjoy your wonderful trip. Enjoying the photos. They're great.
I've passed on the link to Frank so you may get some comments from him. He'll particularly enjoy the 101 uses for duct tape.

Hey, you crazy golfers!
What a lovely lush looking place. You can almost feel that rain from here (not that we need to really feel any ourselves. Not raining, but not sunny either...).
Did you eat any of the chocolate they have there? or am I thinking of Belgium? Chocolate....mmmmmm.....
Anyway, had to laugh at your forth floor palace and at David still making his own bed...I hope he can now tuck sheets in so that you can bounce a euro off the bed...; )
Sounds and looks like you are both continuing to have fantastic adventures, very inspiring indeed.
Did you ever get to read the book you chose, Jenny? I am half way through and loving it. Good choice!

Hey!
Firstly thanks for providing a welcome distraction from setting up our new mystery shop programme :D
Looks like you are having an amazing time. Completely agree with you about Lisbon Castle...was there an old guy playing the flute? We were serenaded with O Come all Ye Faithful!
Hope you managed to look at the Rolex's in Biel so you know which knock-off to buy when you get to Thailand...
Looking forward to the next installment - will send you some house photos soon - perhaps I should get some Union beer in for the birthday party!!

What I want to know is, at what point did you think, I know, we'll take a roll of duct tape with us, that'll come in handy!
And has David used the bottle opener on the sole of his flip flop yet?
All sounds wonderful, love the photos. Mum & Dad Crane xxx
