SOOO jealous of your tan JC! Did you realise its dark here at 5pm now? Nope didnt think so!! :)
Looks like you 2 are still having loads of fun and adventures, which is great to see. And as usual, your blog is making for entertaining reading.
Night out with the girls coming up at end of november, so will send you drunk texts or photos again :)

Hi glad you're having fun! Enjoy the beaches (watch out for great sunsets and snorkelling), and a spot of civilisation again! Shame you're missing Cambodia but don't blame you for having had enough of the travelling!! Maybe see if you still feel the same after Thailand and you're still in the area?
Babes are both walking now - at last, which is v. exciting!

p.s. Finch, sounds like you have a colony of the invasive Harlequin ladybirds! Check out this site:
Cockroaches!!! And I thought I had a problem with about 30+ ladybirds that have set up home in my car - I think they are a species of chav ladybirds ;) Varying in colour and spottyness it's really random.
Like your book of tape, it has been suggested I should start a book on excuses for being late for work, it can now include counting ladybirds and did I mention my car being stuck in the garage cos dad painted the door shut (which he totally denies and puts it down to me being a girl and not being strong enough to open it), need I say more...
As always the blog is great, keep up the great work. XXX

Yes, we have all gone a bit quiet! Good to see you demonstrating the intrepid spirit of Great Explorers - 24 hour train journeys with cockroaches as travelling companions, not an attractive proposition. Beaches sound much better.
Sadly Ipswich have no winning ways at all and Mr Keane is looking decidedly shifty. Even I have noticed!

Just in case you think everyone has left the country this is my message. Enjoyed the latest entry.
We are having unseasonably warm weather and it is half term, amazing!
Keep on having a great time, looking forward to hearing about the next leg of your journey.
Most important of all Spurs are back to winning ways.

So, is the Asia leg what you were expecting? It's great to hear your managing to get out and meet some of the local tribes.
By the sounds of things your fed up of swine flu tests! I've been off work for a week and really you can't tell if it's a seasonal cold or pig flu. Feeling better now, the folks have got it as well. But the funny thing is they won't let me back to work until I have no symptoms as they don't want to catch it incase it is ;)
Seeing as I have been confined to quarters, it's been a very dull week! Looking forward to your next update ;)
Frances
Great photos and every kind of view - lakes, hills, caves, museums, people! The war museum stuff looked a bit scary, and you can definitely keep the cyclo experience, looks extremely hazardous.
You're obviously having a great time, you just carry on having fun while we enjoy the damp and the chill. Clocks go back next weekend, and the shops are full of Christmas cards. Oh joy.

DJ....Smithy here! Tom finally sent your Blog link through so I've had some catching up to do. 10/10 for Jenny's Blogs, slightly less so for yours. Very disappointed you didn't run the Berlin Marathon, but you should be good for the Auckland Marathon. Few more sports stadium shots would also be well received. Anyway, absolutely top performance from you both. Consider a re-route via Grand Cayman later in your tour....

Blimey, your working your way through countries! Loving the night scenes of Hong Kong. Thought I would give you a snap shot of home. Well, here it is very autumnal, the weather is certainly colder and we're seeing rain for the first time in ages (but nippy down at Felixstowe!) The leaves are all changing colour and the nights are drawing in. Soon it will be Christmas ;)
Safe trip to Hanoi XXX

We enjoyed reading your highlights of the trip so far and definitely agree with the accommodation section!!! Glad you sound so relaxed and adapted to the whole travelling bug! Enjoy the first long flight XXX

Wow! TheTemppeliaukyo Church looks amazing! Also looks quite cool judging by how well wrapped up you both are.
Looking foward to the Asia leg of your tour. Will drop you a line re Singapore soon.
All the best,
Steve
Kate Woohoooooo!! :d
Hey guys,
Thought I'd post you a message. Good to hear you were disappointed by Budapest too, I didn't think it was great either. But it's nice to know you're enjoying yourself on what is effectively an epic first anniversary. Most people take a small amount of time to celebrate, you take several months. How rude :P
Still waiting for my presents, I know there are postal strikes which is delaying things but that excuse can only last so long.
It's cold, grey and wet here now, so enjoy your tropical weather when you get there!
