Wow, so now you're home after your amazing trip. I have so enjoyed your blog and reading about all the exciting places that you have been too. I've just caught up with the last entry this evening. I am really looking forward to seeing you both on Sunday.
Lots of love

They return to the homeland;)
Although it does occur to me that the blogging will now come to a sad end, what will we do for entertainment!? My suggestion for you is to carry on taking pictures of David with a beer/alcoholic beverage (a common theme of the trip) randomly at sites around London. I'm sure there will be no arguements from David.

Phew! What an epic adventure! Reading your blog has brightened the dark days of winter from my end somewhat. You must do it again next year :D

I didn't put 2 + 2 together about the earthquake - didn't realise you were there! So glad you're OK and not too traumatised by what must have been a really scary experience! Phew! Enjoy the rest of your trip and hope it's a bit more peaceful than the last few days. Take care xxs

What an experience!!!!!!!! Think of how this story will be embellished by the time you have Grandchildren. Thinking of you both as you journey onward and homeward. Hope you have a great last few days and many happy reunions as you reacquaint yourselves with old friends and relatives in England.
Cheers Keith and Heather.

We're now in Argentina so all good - long bus journey over the Andes, but pretty picturesque.
Looking forward to enjoying the last few days of our trip. See you soon

Just saw Mum & Dad off on their flight. I think they will be glad to get home even though they have enjoyed their travels You certainly did add some 'end of trip excitement' for them. Good to hear you have transportation. Look forward to reading the last of your blogs
Cheers Heather and Keith

Just uploaded a couple of blogs from NZ as we were a little way behind and we've had some time on our hands recently...
The good news is that we've managed to get a bus tomorrow to Argentina so we'll be moving on. From there we'll see how we go, but we'll see you all soon.
Thanks for all the messasges, emails, texts and everything else over the last couple of days, they're much appreciated.
Love to you all

Hey you two, its a relief to hear you're ok. Just wanted you to know we are thinking about you. I know what you're thinking Mouthy - it takes a massive earthquake to stir me into posting a message on this board - fair point! I have actually been a regular reader and Michelle, sitting next to me on the sofa, just remarked when looking at the photos that she has never seen you smile so much - also a fair point! Can't wait to see you both (not long now!) and Ben is expecting some pretty amazing bed time stories, not to pile the pressure on too much. Loved the paragliding pics - very interested to hear all about that experience. Hang in there (pun intended). Lots of love. The Lindseys

Nice one David, REALLY pleased to hear you're both okay and safe.
I know that you were looking forward to returning home, but I think there are a few people here that would really like to see you right about now (me included). I can imagine your folks had a few years taken off of their lives today, I know there was a sigh of relief here when we knew you were safe. You can certainly say it's been one hell of a trip.
What would we do without the internet. Thanks for the update Frances, please keep us posted with how they're getting on.
Stay safe and just looking forward to seeing you both in the not so distant future. XXX
