Thanks for all your messages so far, its great to hear from you all!
Just to let you know that we've just added 2 blog entries to the site and updated a photo album, so the order is out a little - new entries are Tallinn and Helsinki (and a photo album to go with it) and a sort of summary of our Europe leg. Hope you enjoy them!

Yep as I thought, fish and chips on the coast at Whitby does not sound or look as glamarous as that purple soup dish that you are eating Jenny! Had a fab week away, but returned to have a rest and that's only after a week... I'm guessing that there was not nearly enough coffee and beer stops on my trip as there is on yours, although did make time to stop off at Betty's Tearoom for a fat rascal ;) Glad you had a great 1st Anniversary, was thinking of you as the sun was shining. Hat's off to you for agreeing to the bobsleigh - you certainly won't forget the occasion in a hurry. xxx

Great blogs, pictures....and obviously Great 1st Anniversary!
Shame the weather was great here last weekend , similar to last year, yet you were wearing coats in Northern Europe.
Sales of duct tape are soaring in the UK as you remind us of all 1001 things we can do with it. How did we ever live or manage without duct tape?
Good weekend to us all,
Love/regards Dad/Ian x

Hei,
Hope you enjoy Tallinn! Last time I went there my Aunt insisted on taking me round all the flea markets for 'bargains' (which turned out to be dodgy CD/DVD copies and plastic kitchen goods!) rather than enjoying the scenic old town as I fancied - I recommend you do the latter. Hope you're ferrying it over to Helsinki and if you do, go for the Smorgasbord for your meal - it's fab! Look forward to hearing what you get up to in my 'other city' : ) Xs

I can't believe you've done so much while I've been away!! I thought I'd been busy!
I'm fully caught up now and it all looks fabulous! Hope you had a lovely anniversary and did something special (as if the rest of it's quite dull??!) to celebrate.
Take care and keep having fun! :o)
Miss you. xxx

Wow, you are really flying around Europe..... it only seems that you have been gone a week or 2. I am impressed you are writting so much on the blog, that PC was worth carrying after all. I need to read faster.
The hockey season has started and I am sure you are missing it. (WGC men won 3/4 games and drew the 4th)... It is all about leadership :)
Have fun. Alan

Happy Anniversary! Can't believe its been a whole year since we were all at Bawdsey Manor in the sunshine.
Great blog, the train journeys seem to go from the sublime to the ridiculous and the hostels are a bit variable by the sound of it, but it'a all part of the Great Adventure.
Did you know you can get micro duct tape too? For very small ducks??
love from us xxxx

I'm off to Yorkshire for the week, it just doesn't compare. You get European cities, I get sheep and undulating hills!
Will be in touch in a week, have fun in Riga. Looking forward to hearing all about what it's actually like there, after spending 13 hours in the airport and not venturing any further, it will be great to actually see some photos ;)
Andrea
Hey hey! Just caught up reading and looking at the photos of your last three blog entries.
FANTASTIC! I so want to be following your footsteps to all of the places you have gone to... although would skip the sporting events. I love those statues of random people.
Vienna looks stunning. My Dad was born there so I kind of feel that it is my other city (London being my first!). Sachsenhausen looks bleak. It probably has a very strange atmosphere there.
You look amazing, Jenny, so relaxed! This travel malarky obviously suits you.
Andrea
P.S. what has happened to the duck tape? Have you run out? Do you want one of us to send you some more? ;)

Just caught up on all your latest adventures, and am quite jealous of all that blue sky and sunshine you seem to be catching!
Glad to see the good times are continuing, and I agree with previous comments - you could definitely write a travel book!
Will text over the weekend from Lou's :-)
Frances
You both look fantastic, all that walking must be keeping you fit! Good to see plenty of refreshment stops though, just to make us all jealous as we plod through our rather more mundane days.
Great photos, the Riechstag is astonishing and Berlin looks a really interesting place to visit. Lots of museums!
