The adventures of Jon and Jecs!
hello ,
I have just had my first day and it went well . I just went into the CP wards and sat and toched some of the kids because they nerver get human contact . It was so horrid actually seein the rows of kids just lying there twisted and being roughly fed lying down. It wasnt hard to realise why god called me here thou (like you said dad ) to make them smile. i mean everyone has seen images on the tv of it and here it isnt half as bad but to actually be standing in there looking at girls my own age in such a situation made it so real . I am really looking forward to how God can use me to help even just a few of the hundred children .
It is very scary leaving Jessica and living with some sweedish thi and Danish people and trying to pick up some thai so i can get food . I am sure i will get used to it thou. Oh yea there are about 10 or so English volunteers in another home who are lovely , so i went over on a moterbike taxi last night night for a prayer meeting ( some of them reckonised me from Ashbernham its a small world) it was lovely i just felt at home i havenot been with english christians for ages and worshiped god together.
Sorry about the emotional entery but it was kinda my dairy because last week i lost one of my most precious items i carry , the dairy eleanor got me and which i write in every day . I am so sad about that.
I would really aprecaite your prayer so that i dont cry when i see the kids but come as entertainment and show that Jesus cares about them.
God Bless you at home . Joanne xxxxxxxxxxxxx
