Hey mates..
after a week in brisbane it's getting more adventures and I'm getting more excited. But first to another event...
Brad's bday was yesterday and we (Jen and me) wanted to surprise him with a big present: A xbox 360 in a bundle with games and kinect etc. He was dreaming the whole time to have one and I accompanied him a lot of times in game shops (let me count: about 5 times in 4 days? ^^) he didnt expect anything big as a present because their budget for such a huge consol isnt big enough. But with some financial additions from his family, friends and me we could purchase one. So we had already a mean surprising idea. I wanted to give him only a game with the words: "Brad I know how much you like to have a game consol and therefore I bought you this game." It's rather evil, right?^^After that we would have sent him to the car to open the boot where his present would have been hided. Anyway the day came I was attending a korean barbecue which I really liked (samgyeobsal and bulgogi ^^) and Jen was in the mall to buy the present... meanwhile a friend came who gave some money to this present and revealt unintentionally everything because he didnt know about our idea... So anyway Brad was very happy and surprised and we played the whole day and night with the xbox ^^
Ok now to my exciting thing. After a week at my foster home (it was quiet and comfortable and I'm thankful to had them) I felt I need more. So i decided to start tomorrow a program where I get a small introduction to farm work... That means: riding on a horse, driving a truck and motorbike, fencing (not the one with the swords) and so on. After that I'll get a job on a farm and work there for accomodation, food and money... (i hope so^^)I would like to work on a sheep farm... It'll be hard because I have to ride a horse (never done this before but wanna learn it) or motorbike or have sterilize the male sheeps... ^^ So we will see what will happen ...
Thats all for the second week... (cant believe that only 2 weeks have gone by. It feels more like 2 months)
Anyways I'll report next week how it was^^
