We are off hiking on Fox's glacier and kayaking on a lake beneath it over the next few days and have the luxury of staying in the 'Love Shack' (a disguised old caravan!) for 3 nights which will make a nice change from swearing at and swatting at sand flies every evening as we try to cook, eat and put up tents without getting eaten alive, no easy feat I can tell you. Anyone out there have any near death experiences featuring sandflies? If you've visited this island you will have... tell all. xxx J

Hey you guys - you little b*****s! Can't believe you are over in our favy country and Im still in the office printing out my reports at 7.45pm! Sado! Got your postie this morning from Tong. crossing. Bet its great travelling with benny boy! There are so many things you must do! (Spelling warning by the way!) Whale watching at Kaikora, free camping by Lake Pukaki, Milford Sound boat trip (Milford Track if the sand flies are sleeping!), Queenstown DO EVERYTHING! (Nevis bungy, the ledge bungy, shotover jet boat), Wanaka Cadrona ski field mountain biking, Franz Joseph and Fox Glacier hiking, sky diving over Mount Cook, Pancake Rocks, Abel Tasmin Kayaking and 4 day walk! Wow!Wow!Wow!How jealous am I?! Thingz r good over here! Lots of mountain biking trips, been away in campervan with Hazel and Gareth and Alan came too with his guitar and new capo! (that was for Pete!) Off snowboarding with the school in 3 weeks (what a bummer this term was a massive 5 weeks long!) so looking forward to that! Got a phone call from Marky Wilson the other night and he has applied for a job in St.Austell! Horray! They are all slowly coming back! Tell Ben that the head of Maths job is up for grabs in Sept! In the TES this week! Our spare room is still an option! Better sign off as still got loads to do and they are due in tomorrow - but hey no one looks at them till Fri!! Miss yallxx

hi every one i hope that you aer having a good time. it is freezing over here and i supose it is boiling where you are. i have my DME today and i am getting freaked out seems as it does count for 30% of my geography GCSE, well i have done loads of revision and background work so there isn't much more that i can do. Everyone in year 11 are making plans for the prom and all the limos in Plymouth are gone but luckily i booked early, i have already got my prom dress and i am going to get my hair and make-up done professionally. the long reports are going out now (bet your glad that you don't have to write all of them out a miss). Got to go i have work to do and i have to get to my exam, hope to hear from you soon.

Hello there - I'm supposed to be marking but hey - this internet access is free and at home its not soo!! I'll do my marking tonight. It's really horrible here today - windy and rainy. We are North Island of NZ by Lake Taupo, Pete and Ben are off being energetic and walking the 8 hour Tongariro Crossing trail. Judging by my poor showing when we walked for just 3 hours from Cape Brett to Deep Water Bay (up hill all the bloody way I might add!) I didn't think I would either make it, or enjoy the full day version, so I'm having a lazy day by the lake just chilling out and having some "me" time. Thanks for messages and emails from all. Thanks Lisa for all the goss and Cate for keeping me back in the real world. Su, good luck with the lead singer thing, you'll be great and really enjoy yourself. I hope Gerri is ok. Will put a new postcard on in a few days when we get to Wellington and have completed the North Island. Tonky, if you're listening, we're working on Ben to get him to join you for a term! Ha Ha! Now I know Rose did ok in her exam!!! I won't believe her when she tells me she has failed the next time!! Hope you are both well. New Zealand looks pretty on TV but does not look like there is much to do and the cold sounds bad. We have booked two holidays. In April we are going to Budapest and in August to Crete. Don;t suppose those places are on your stop-off list! We wanted to go back to New York but the deal to Hungary was too tempting and could not find a good enough one for NY.
