Back to school again...yay!! Getting ready for all the exams coming up. I have my first one next Monday, not feeling good about any of it!!

We,re on the road in NZ and have pulled into a cafe in the middle of nowhere...............and they have the internet. The weather is crap. Dull, muggy and misty with rain. Dangerously like England. But this is the first bad wearher we have had since leaving home in August!!! Went to Kare Kare beach this morning, where they shot the opening scenes to the Piano and of Crowded House fame........"i was standing on a wave and i made the drop....."
Anyway must dash. Just to say a big Happy Birthday to my friends Mel and Lawrence, have a great time. Lawrence- great to hear from you and hope the surfing is going well. Really missing the climbing with the gang. Hope the job is going well.

Hi Guys, I've just been having gander at your photos. They look fantastic and it's good to see that you're both so well. We've been back at school for a day ( I think the last time I posted you a message was this time last term!). Joey and I went to Tobago for two weeks and had the time of our life. We stayed in the rain forest all on our own and sat watching some stunning birds. (right up your street) then stayed at a place that looked out over the most amazing beach, where we snorkelled loads and saw some beautiful coral and fish. Had Christmas drinking champagne in the jungle and saw New Year in in a Rum shop liming and dancing in the street. Got proposed to about 15 times and constantly hassled by Tobago men - gentle but persistant! Back in England the day before term started feeling very chilly! We're doing another ska/reggae night on Saturday 29th. Pete, we shall miss you bobbing about at the front of the dance floor! Look after yourselves and happy 2005.

hi pete, sent an email to both of you but thought i'd try the message board as well - lots of people been asking after you, glad to know you are both well.back in work after a wicked nye party at buckfastleigh, pete troake and i played in the ny on guitar and irish pipes, dunno what the neighbours thought but sue and laura's guests loved it. It makes me feel warm inside knowing where you are, we froze in the the sea at bantham yesterday, board took a bit of a battering, i'm still no good but building experience.jim & di (& dai) send their love - the climbing club has become becalmed in a sea of apathy although dai & i have done some (see email). Jim and I hope to grab a weekend in lakes and meet dai - another brilliant area - north york moors - took my bro and nephew and mum to a perfect minature stanage - 200 climbs side by side!

Just some news on our side - Ang is postponing, possibly cancelling his whole SE Asia trip due to all the chaos going on at the moment and I am loving being back in good ol' Durbs and am having a fantastic long holiday with the family.

Hello all. Just thought I'd send a message from the airport as it is free!! Yeay the best yet! We are off to NZ now and will be meeting up with Ben tonight. We have had a fabulous festive period in Oz and will be returning to "do" Australia properly in a few weeks. Thanks for all fab messages, glad you are enjoying the photos. Hi Folks. Happy New Year. Just caught up with your postcards and need more info. Pete, how did the cake in Namibia compare to that we had in that beautiful tea garden on the last walk? Scores out of 10 please! Hopefully the old lung will get reinflated by next week then its a 7 or 8 week break from work to get better (So thats get flat completed and find a new job!) When you are in NZ, check out the Black Water rafting in Waitomo - North Island. Enjoy yerselves and think of us poor poms back home in the cold!
