Today we set off early from Bath, taking a bus back to London's Victoria Station. We had three hours to kill before we had to catch our next bus to York so we walked around in the area outside Victoria Station and grabbed some lunch before riding the underground to King's Cross Station and getting on our bus at St Pancras Station next door. The drive took around 5 hours and we got to see some more of the English countryside and got the closest I've been to a nuclear power plant. We arrived in York around 9 pm. It was too late to visit any museums so we took a stroll through town, stopping by Clifford's Tower which is all that remains of York's 13th century castle. By the river there were a bunch of people out, dressed up to go to the large number of clubs and bars in the area. We returned to our hostel, Ace York (which is the nicest one we've stayed at yet), and grabbed some dinner in the bar and booked our train tickets and hostel reservations for Edinburgh before calling it a night. Not a very eventful day, but hopefully tomorrow we'll get to explore all the sights around York.
