I woke up and went upstairs to find the whole family in the kitchen making breakfast. All three of their kids are so cute and little Caroline Louise was very shy and curious of this newcomer to their home. After we finished eating, everyone started getting ready for the day. I got to meet Sissel's brother and parents when they dropped off their Volvo for us to use to today (cause it seats 8). Our first stop was Troldhaugen, the home of composer Edvard Grieg who lived until 1907 and was very influential in his time. We toured through the little museum on his life, his home and the studio where he wrote his music that has an amazing view over the water. Then we went to a performance of his music in the concert hall. It made me really want to start playing piano more! They treated me to lunch at a restaurant right on the water. It was turning out to be a beautiful day so we walked through the downtown area and then rode the Fløibanen (a trolley car) up to the top of one of the surrounding mountains. The view of the city was incredible and we relaxed up there for awhile before riding back down and heading home. Peter made a wonderful dinner and we watched a movie before going to bed. Peter and Sissel have been so amazing to me and I can't thank them enough for letting me stay with them! Tomorrow I'm going to take a fjord boat tour and see some of the incredible wilderness that Norway is famous for!
