You must of wondered what's happened to us!!! Well Emma lost our memory card with about 300 of our photos (discovered it lost the day we were going to back it up!)and ever since we have been internet cafe phobic. We left La Paz with tales of hijacks at gun point! (Mum's, only putting this in now we have left Bolivia x x) Yes we met several travellers that had been kidnapped for 24 hours whilst they had their bank accounts cleaned out. Not a very nice experience I am sure. Apparently it's really rather common in La Paz I guess we got lucky or just looked poor!!! Jay reckons it's because we looked like we might Wing Chung them right up! So leaving La Paz we headed for Cochabamba, first night sitting in a restaurant and a group of bikers go by and one of the girls on the back is holding a loft a semi automatic! Only in Bolivia! After a couple of days we leave Cochabamba and head for Sucre (where the memory card thing happend) what a beatiful little city. The sun was shining the streets were not unlike a posh London suburb and the increased afluence of the town evident everywhere. We visited our strangest tourist attraction yet...the dino tour. Check out the pictures. In a cement works in 1994 the workmen discovered the largest collection of dinosorfootprints in the world, worked stopped and it became a national monument! You need a lot of imagination as the prints are on a wall 600 mtrs away but the life size dino's they have built add to the experience! The only way of arriving at the site is by dino truck (picture!) and you dont feel like a complete t*** at all driving through the town!
