Arrived in Perth on 12th January after a five hour flight, which consisted of lots of food and you me and duprez, which was a really funny film. After a smooth transition from airport to Mountway Holiday apartments (which we booked online) we unloaded our luggage to begin checking in. Upon first appearances the room looked basic but seemed clean, however on sight of the roaches we were out of there!! If anyone is reading this and travelling to Perth do not stay in these apartments, this a serious name and shame!!!! You will be pleased to hear that we have since booked into the Emerald Hotel which is a home away from home. We have had a great week here in Perth, weather has been gorgeous.  We have done the city tours and visited Freemantle.

Our next ozzy adventure begins this Friday, 19th, when we pick up our campervan, which will be our home on wheels for the next three and a half weeks. The plan is to travel south taking in the towns of Bunbury, Margaret River, Albany, Esperance and heading through the outback visiting the goldfields, then onward to the North as far as Exmouth and then back down through Karanjini National Park. No doubt this plan will change as we hit the open road.

We don't know what the situation will be like with us accessing the internet over this period, so if we get the chance we will update it, if not then we will just have to update it all when we get back into Perth on our return. No doubt we will have some amazing photographs and stories of our adventure, and you will probably have lots to update us on.
