We arrived in Miami about 5 weeks ago now and spent the first two weeks touring downtown miami, south beach,north beach, ocean boulevard, coconut grove, fort lauderdale. Doing lots of driving, well Jay is, Dawn was doing lots of posing. From here we drove up to Orlando, to experience the theme park madness, and it was madness. We had loads of fun at Universal and Wet and Wild, however, the queues were at times a little testing, and after two weeks there we were glad to get back on the open road.

Tampa was our next stop, which was a pleasant surprise, we enjoyed Busch Gardens and Ybor City. The Shiekra ride at Bucsh Gardens was stomach churningly ace.

Daytona was our next port of call, and we visited the infamous daytona beach for some sunning and the NASCAR Daytona USA 500 experience where we had a tour of the race track which was huge! on race days the place holds over a quarter of a million people. We also got to try some simulators out which was cool.

We are now currently in the historical city of St Augustine, which is one of americas oldest cities, and it has the Castillo de San Marcos which is the oldest fort of its kind in America. Which served as an outpost for the Spanish empire. So we are learning a little of Floridian history. Still getting a little culture.
