5th January we travelled to Phuket for out last destination stop in Thailand. We choose to stay in the town as the main beach joints were too commercial and overpriced. Some of the hotels we visited prior to finding Twin Inn – which was where we eventually ended up staying – were comparable to the Bates Motel (Pschyo). This is exactly what the beach looks like. Arrived here on 3rd January after a smooth boat journey. Arrived safely in Koh Tao 6 days ago after a bus and boat transit from Bangkok which went smoothly. We were picked up at the pier by Buddha View Dive Resort Reps and whisked to Chalok Baan Kao to begin the briefing for our Padi Dive Course.
