This is exactly what the beach looks like.

Arrived here on 3rd January after a smooth boat journey. Within 5 minutes of stepping onto the island we had found a nice hotel with beach views and free coffee and tea! Bliss - Dawn was over the moon as you can imagine. This island is really small - no roads, so no cars or motorbikes - easily navigated on foot in about half an hour. However, the climb up to the viewpoint was a little more strenuous, but well worth the climb, which jay managed to make 4 times, 3 of these running! ……and we only stayed on the island two nights. The Beach was picture postcard beautiful! And the sunset was the best we had seen. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Thailand. In all its beauty its hard to imagine that this whole island was wrecked by the tsunami only two years ago – they have rebuilt nearly 90% of it.
