Up at 5am for a 5:25 start, just like a Monday working in Ireland! Cast off and motored to the exit of the harbour only for the bows to suddenly lower and for us to come to a stop. We had run aground. Reversing did not do any good. Just as I was beginning to think we might have to wait for the tide to rise, I managed to spin Javelin round and get off the shallow spot.
