The bilge has had fresh water in it on a regular basis, so I concluded we must have a leak in our fresh water system. On investigation I found the water pump is leaking. I managed to find a replacement on Amazon and have ordered a new one to be delivered to Crowthorne. Hopefully one of the new crew can bring it out with them. Set of a little later than planned as a result of the investigation.
We had a good sail from L'Aberwach to Camaret. We were again down wind with a force 4 to 5 pushing us along through the Chenal de Four which the point at which we start heading south rather than west. In arriving in Camaret, the marina was full and we needed to raft along side another yacht. As the skipper of the other boat gave us a hand, I recognised him as John Athey a former RBYC member and joint owner of the 3Js yacht. He and his wife are spending a couple of months cruising Britanny and are spending a few days in Camaret. Last time I was hear, bumped into Pauline Errey, wonder who it will be next time?
