Yo!
Another update- woohoo!! We are now in Queenstown, and have 4 days here, so have some time off to actually relax and do stuff! means we get to get on the net and get in touch with people too!
Ok, as usual, I can never remember where I left it last time, but we are on the South island now, which is really cool and has magnificant scenary and is well picuresque. Loads of big lakes, with snowtopped mountains behind.
Queenstown is meant to be the adventure capital of NZ, so we were hoping to do a few exciting things here- but its not going too well. Wanted to do paragliding but its off this weekend- for a training weekend! doh! We are back here for a few days next week, so hopefully can do it then instead. Also wanna do jetboating- may do that in the next few days. Dont really fancy bungy jumping, but you never know......
What else have we done??? umm... lots of drinking, which probably isnt good- spending too much money on alcohol- plus am starting to get fed up with beer so am drinking lots of vodka instead which costs more! doh! Went to a place called The World Bar last night, where you get cocktails served in teapots which is very random but cool!!
Not long left now on the Stray tour, just a small loop of the very south, for about 4 days, then thats it! Not sure what we are gonna do then, as we still have another 3 weeks. Lisa's dad and brother get here on the 26th though, so that will be cool- we are thinking we might hire a car or something...
We have probably done more, but I can never think! But yeah, lots of drinking and partying in Queenstown! We had a really good group of people on the Stray bus, and people are all starting to go off their own ways now, which is kinda sad, it will be a bit strange to be on our own again. Oh, we have also being eating at Fergburger- it does the biggest, best burgers you have ever seen! So far I have had a lamb one, and a deer one! Might try a beef one tonight....
We also did Karoke at one of the places we stayed a few nights at, I did YMCA with 2 Irish guys and 2 Koreans, so random!! lol!! All good fun tho. Oh., and we went to a place called Barrytown, were all the guys had to dress as girls, and all the girls as guys!! so funny!!! so whatch out for those pics.... also when we were there, the bar closed and 12, and then randomly at 1, the drunken chef re-opened the bar, and let us all back in and let us have free beer!! We were all rather drunk! I bet his boss wasnt happy when she found out....
Will try and get pics on now, about time eh!! Havent got some of the older ones, as they are on Lisa's laptop (currently in an internet cafe) so the pics will be a bit out of order, and will have to get the others on at another time- but will get all the NZ ones on now!!
