Today we transited from Katima Mulilo to Kasane, so back into Botswana and another stamp in the passport! We only had to travel about 150km. Just before we reached Kasane, we entered into the Chobe National Park and it didn't take long before we encountered an elephant crossing the road in front of the truck, and water buffalo. Jarrod also had a scary incident with a dung beetle. Hurtling towards him at a rate of knots, he didn't have time to duck as it ploughed into the top of his head, and all this happened inside the truck. We arrived in Kasane before lunch to do some shopping and finally get some
Wifi access! The funniest thing about this place is the warthogs wandering the streets like stray dogs. We reached the Thebe Camp Site and set up camp. We were glad to have the afternoon to ourselves to do some washing and relax in the bar, before getting an early night, ready for a 5:30am start!
