Today we drove from Port Lincoln to a small oyster-farming town called Coffin Bay (named after Sir Isaac Coffin who was Matthew Flinders good friend). Once we set up we drove into town and got Dad some oysters from one of the oysters sheds. After that we went to Long Beach where we collected about 100 Pipis (Goolwa cockles) for bait. Dad caught a flathead which weighed over 1kg. We had drinks at café 1802 (named after the year Matthew Flinders explored the Australian coastline and named Coffin Bay).
