The sun is shining and it is hot but it is the rainy season so we are prepared. No traffic on this island at all ( no roads ) when we got off the boat,( it was about a two and a half hour sail from the mainland) there were loads of local people with buggies waiting to take your luggage to your accommodation, our wee man was quite elderly and when he looked round at one point he was a bit grey in the gills so I sneeked up behind and pushed from the back, thought it would be easier than resuscitating him!!!
Next day we took a boat trip around the islands, it was really nice, we met up with another two GAP groups so there was a lot of chat going on, not to mention a lot of Caparinas and Mojitos, there was snorkelling too but I declined this time.
We head up to Rio tomorrow and stay there until we fly out on the 28th.Shirley will have two days with us and asked us what we wanted to do while we were there so she has got it all organised for us,hopefully we will do a Samba night too. Not sure if there will be any internet time in Rio so this might be my last entry,I´m going to see if this machine will upload my photos if not you will see them when I get home.
Thankyou all very much for keeping in touch with me,I really looked forward to reading your messages.
Take care and I´ll see you very soon.By the way Anne,I might be needing those bank nights,Brazil is very expensive and I´m spending my money like a man with no arms!!!
