Zanzibar! Hey folks! I'm here at last!

The plane journey over was something else; the emergency exit on the propeller plane was half hanging off right next to me. Also my seat number 1A didn't exist, much to the amusement of the cabin crew - although they were quite lazy, falling asleep throughout the flight!

The car didn't pick me up at the hospital - surprise, surprise! So I had to get a taxi to the hospital and find my accommodation. The accommodation is nice but there aren't any other students from the hospital there. I think I'll move either to a hotel or in with the other students.

Met some of the other students today in the hospital - surprisingly they're all from Scotland but studying in Manchester! They're cool! One of their friends is home-sick so she's going home and a free room will be available there - maybe I'll move in with them.

The food here is delicious - prawns, lobster, fish, spices... All sorts! And the beaches and the sea... perfect!

I really do miss home though, aswell as Rome and Athens! It's just taking a bit of adjustment - that's all. Kwaheri! x
