Well this is it - the end of my statue viewing, pizza eating, wine consuming, sight-seeing, foot-tiring, skive! I really can't believe that I've been away for nearly a month and to say that the trip has been bizarre would be an understatement!

My achievements of the trip so far are:

- completing a rubik's cube in 15 minutes

- holding a conversation in Italian

- determining whether a skeleton is male or female, age at death, and how they died

- navigating the transport systems of both Rome and Athens without a hitch

- eating pizza almost everyday

and lastly:

- how to spend a holiday not studying Roman medicine
