Just a quick update from Bangkok. Our hotel is really lovely. We arrived just after 1am this morning and is was still very hot and humid. This morning was even worse and then we had thunder storm. Didn't really bother us as we are having a quiet lazy day. Had breakfast in hotel and are now in a massive shopping mall. Planning to eat in the hotel tonight they have a michelin star guest chef from Bordeaux for 3 nights so we are going for that. Then there is music from whoever last won Australia's got talent! Early start tomorrow for our full day tour to the floating markets in the morning then visiting the palaces in Bangkok pm. We leave here midnight tomo night for flight 2.30am to Dubai then on to Birmingham.
Rois and James hope you are enjoying beach life. Assume you have no signal or credit as we have not heard anything back from you. Text when you can.

Family! All very sad on here - I'm scared I might cry like Louis Walsh when evicting X factor contestants!!
To help cheer you up, it's only 109 days till the Moles and MacLeods hit NYC (not that I am counting!) and 133 days until you are home!! (that's more to cheer the home base of the message board).
Here, it is getting colder everyday - the blitzee is out as my lips get chapped with the turn of the weather, it's dark by 4.30pm, and it's that time of year that you wonder why on earth you ever fancied drinking white wine - it's cold...some mulled red wine on the other hand...yum yum yum!!
Anyway, enough nonsense, wanna give all four of you a massive hug - safe onward journeys. LOVE YOU x x x

This is making me cry more than an episode of the X Factor auditions! Can't believe it has gone so quickly. Want to hear all about the fantastic experiences and look at the photos. Rois & James - back on the road again hey! Literally! Safe onward journeys and looking forward to hearing about how the rest of Oz goes and whether you'll meet another Magoo character! Not sure if anyone or thing can top Magoo though! Enjoy Bangkok M&D!!!! Happy camera shopping Dad. Hope it isn't too hot - head for the shopping centres if so (any excuse!). We've got snow forecasted here today! I will definately be putting the heating on for you tomorrow Mum!
Lots of love A weepy Mossy xxx

Can't believe you beat us to it Rois and James! We have just checked in at Sydney airport for our 8+ hour flight to Bangkok. We have had the most fantastic time in Australia for last 2 weeks, the highlight of course being seeing Rois and James and spending wonderful times with them - honestly a lifetime best holiday. Feeling a bit down now after our farewells, but all good things have to come to an end. Rois and James showed off their temporary "home" like pros. We spent 5 days in Melbourne, then 4 of us travelled on to Hobart, Tasmania for 3 nights, before 5 nights at Star City in Sydney. We have had so many good days out and holiday experiences (Mal and James climbed the Harbour Bridge yesterday in 35 degrees heat while Rois and I climbed the bridge pylon and walked across the entire bridge - trying to spot the lads above - then 4 of us attended concert in the Sydney Opera House last night) ... also lots of good meals etc.
Promising to write more detailed blog with photos etc. after our return to UK on Friday .... but allow few days for the jet lag etc.
As Rois and James have said, they really do love getting messages from you all - especially now they are "back on the road" with little opportunity of telephone calls from home.
Rois and James - thank you so so much for all the great times we have loved every moment. Could not have gone a whole year without seeing you, March will not seem so far away now. Hope onward itinerary works out well and hope we can speak to you at weekend when we get home.
Love and God Bless you both XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
PS Rois you are not going to Bondi Beach tonight!!!!!
Rois And James
:-( back to just me and James then. Mum and Dad have just headed off to the airport, and we've turned to cyberspace for some company. To say that we're sad would be an understatment in the extreme.
Mum and Dad, I LOVED having you here, and had the GREATEST time. The wait won't be as long this time.
In other news, this message board has slowed up ... come back to us friends and family! We are back to the travelites that you know and love as of tonight - we arrive at Bondi Beach tomorrow morning, and head to Surfers Paradise the morning after that. We'll work on getting photos up here as we've got tonnes.
Lots of love from us both. Miss you Mum and Dad xxx

Hiddy all! Well, no worries here - the weather is pretty glorious in Sydney today. Me and James are uploading photos and defining the last details of our travels in Australia, while Mum and Dad are cashing travellers' cheques and finding their feet in Sydney. We are hoping to see inside the Opera House this afternoon, and we are booked onto an all-day tour tomorrow to see the Blue Mountains, cuddle koalas, and throw boomerangs! We are staying in Star City here - the creme de la creme and loving every second of it (other than the mad-dash for breaky this morning!) Hope all is well with you all. Lots of love xxx

This is one of the most read on bbc toady - freak weather in Oz - snow and rain!!
Beautiful showers (aka rain) today - you'd love it. We're enjoying the relaxed life here. We've got a two-level apartment don't you know?! Off to live music bars tonight, and a "MEGA" Port Arthur Tour tomorrow. Photos and blogs to follow...
Lots of love xxxx
Disappointed
That was meant to have a pic of the Tazmania Looney toons character - but it didn't post!! So instead is a boring, misspelt message!! The sentiment remains though - have fun! x
