Am only half way through, and being the sad accountant I am, I have noted down the numbers of the photos to make comments on them!!
1 - Sydney Album, photo 13 - James and Mr. Koala (thanks C-moss - wasn't too sure how to spell koala!!) James is doing a 'Niamh' - he is mimicking the koala's face expression - I love it!
2 - Good times album, photo 35 - Dad looks like Ace Ventura!!
3 - Amy's album, photo 6 - ROUND THE TWIST!!!! I didn't know you'd been there- how???? That is literally amazing!
Also, those ice-creams look 'awesome'! Will be back after lunch once I get to look at the rest!
Love you x
ps. Got your postcard yesterday - NO WORRIES!! x x

Also, the photo of Amy & karl Kennedy deserves a message on it's own.
The connection between those gazing looks. It's like Scarlett & Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind! Susan kennedy needs to watch out!x

Hi there
Well done on all the photos - that must have taken AGES!! Will upload what's on our camera soon and share with you. Hope bus hopping north along east coast continues to go well. Still re-adjusting to very dull UK but jetlag easing at last. Chat over the weekend hopefully. XXX
Niamh
hey there,
hope you've had a good weekend - went home to see the parentals - very tired, but loved their trip...and WELL DONE JAMES on the bridge climb...amazing!! I hear you and dad are celebs in Sydney hence your private trip! Ashcherrelle thought you and dad had done a sky dive in your suits!!
Rois, had a classic 144 door moment on Friday night - the curtain was across the door, the bell went and I opened the curtain, realised it was trick or treaters, panicked and closed the curtain again and ran off!
Love you, have fun! x

Ah I just spoke to my family. Im happy :)
Im going to do a little bit of proper travelling this weekend as its Day of the Dead fiesta and i dont have work. Theres a massive party going on right now in the city cemetry. Surreal but I really like it.
Here are a very few photos of early days in Mexico.
I will arrange and organise them all at some juncture. And upload more.
But MY GOD it takes SUCH a long time to upload them.
Do you know some secret special password to make the process go faster???

Hi again Just to say that the sleepyheads have landed at a frosty Birmingham! All is well, they are looking forward to their beds. Dad got a few hours sleep but Mum hasn't slept at all xxx

Happy Halloween! We are having a 'Halloween Spooktacular' today and it's my last day. You should see the office Smosh - there are gravestones in Steve's office and my desk is decked in cobwebs and 'Sorry you are leaving' balloons - We are having a party at lunchtime. I have dressed up as an Irish witch, thanks to your emerald green dress and a orange vieled cobwebby hat! What are you dressing up as? Fraser Island is meant to be beautiful. Hope you have a great trip. Can't wait to see the parentals! I'm getting a big bottle of wine ready in preparation for listening to the stories! Keep safe. Love you x

Hey Y'all!
We are now in Brisbane (have been to Byron Bay and Surfers Paradise since last post) We have a halloween party tonight - fancy dress - I'm sure you can imagine how excited James is ...!
We've got two nights here before we head to Rainbow Beach for our Fraser Island trip. We'll get blogging after that me thinks. Lots of new photos are also on the cards. Lots of love to you all. Mum and Dad McG, hope you're hope okay. xxx

A message. As requested.
Sounds like you had an awesome time with your family. It mustve been wonderful to see them out there. Actually I am jealous. Have you left Melbourne for good now? The travelling has begun? Once more you are wedded to your backpack? What's the plan? Where to go? Will you definitely get to meet up with Harriet and Ash? Where are you spending Christmas?
I am a little bit more in love with Mexico every day. But also I have finally begun planning my onward journeys in earnest. Had the best birthday ever. Spent day in San Cristobal which is a beautiful colonial town in the mountains about half an hour from where I live. Am currently teaching myself to upload photos so hopefully ill be able to share them with you soon.
I realise it's my turn for a major email and Ill get right on it as soon as. At the moment all my internet time is taken up with geeking out over the American election...
