Day 6: Today we just chilled out and enjoyed the scenery. We got an unspoilt view of the mighty Matterhorn for most of the morning and early afternoon and we had some great Tapas in the Italian-Swiss-English restaurant :o) Looking forward to the Glacier Express tomorrow - can't wait!!! Managed to buy loads of great touristy rubbish and we are now collecting key-rings and postcards and all sorts of stuff hehe :o) James and Ellie

Day 5: Today we left Lausanne to head to Zermatt. Was our first real day of proper travelling! Three stunning train journeys later we arrived in Zermatt. We'll miss Lausanne and the lake but seeing the scenery on the way has already made it worthwhile. We arrived just in time to put our tent up and get to the local shops for supplies.
